I just love how online bullying is a serious problem when it affects Dave Karofsky but was just used as a joke when it involved Rachel Berry in the pilot of Glee.

This show makes women such second-class citizens and so dependent on their men that I often wonder if Rick Santorum and Mitt Romney aren’t on the writing staff.

I was thinking this when they showed him being bullied on Facebook or whatever. Rachel had to deal with being tortured and tormented in school and at home through her Myspace. The whole Cheerio squad bullied her as well as guys from the football team. A girl being bullied by guys and them throwing frozen drinks in her face had to be really hard. She didn’t have any friends at the time either, like at all. no one in the school liked her and avoided her like the plague. Why didn’t they take it seriously when it came to Rachel. Poor Rachel had to deal with it on her own and power through the days because she was determined not to let them get to her; she knew she was better than them and she focused on her goals. Then when she met Finn she needed him to defend her all the time, like she lost her individuality there on out<3
